A Gallery of Custom Sheaths
On this page you will find images of a variety of different styles of my handmade leather knife sheaths. Some of these were custom jobs done on special order and some are simply examples of the kind of work that I sometimes like to do.
Currently, I make most of my sheaths from heavy duty 8-9 oz. or 9-10 oz. vegetable tanned carving leather. The standard sheath that I commonly offer with many of my knives is a simple pouch type friction fit sheath. But, as you will see in the images below, I do offer a variety of sheath styles, custom designed to meet different requirements.
One thing in particular that I like to point out is that, not only do I do various kinds of decorative leather work including stamping and carving, but I actually make many of the leather stamps and other tools that I use in producing this work as well.
Because I make many of my own leather working tools, the decorative work that you get from me will be not only beautiful, but it will also be striking and unique.
If you would like to get more information about my custom leather work, please contact me.
Please note that due to current time constraints, I am no longer offering a custom sheath building service for knives other than our own. I do continue to offer a full choice of our fine handmade sheaths in the variety of styles that you have come to appreciate - for our own knives only.
